No the picture above is not an electric bike. That is just a prototype of what is to come in the future! I can’t wait..but…
The surging cost of gasoline and a desire for a greener commute are turning more people to electric bikes as an unconventional form of transportation. They function like a typical two-wheeler but with a battery-powered assist, and bike dealers, riders and experts say they are flying off the racks.
Official sales figures are hard to pin down, but the Gluskin-Townley Group, which does market research for the National Bicycle Dealers Association, estimates 10,000 electric bikes were sold in the U.S. in 2007, up from 6,000 in 2006.
Bert Cebular, who owns the electric bike and scooter dealership NYCeWheels in New York, said his sales are up about 50 percent so far this year over last. Amazon.com Inc. says sales of electric bikes surged more than 6,000 percent in July from a year earlier, in part because of its expanded offerings.
“The electric bikes are the next big thing,” said Frank Jamerson, a former General Motors Corp. executive turned electric vehicle guru….say that to countries like Japan that have had them for AGES!!! Read more

Here is some cool article I read from Time magazine….They talk about a book written by Felix Dennis. Dennis, the founder in 1995 of the bawdy “lad” magazine Maxim (which he sold last year with two smaller publications for a reported $240 million), is from the “greed is good” school of business. Worth as much as $900 million…
So, what are the secrets of building a booming business? For one thing, he says, it helps to be young, penniless and inexperienced: “You have an advantage that neither education nor upbringing, nor even money, can buy–you have almost nothing. And therefore you have almost nothing to lose.” The author rhapsodizes about the energy and tech savvy of the young. If you have the misfortune of having acquired a few more years and become a comfortable senior manager or a professional, Dennis is skeptical about your entrepreneurial odds. Read MORE

Well, a few weeks ago, I had this amazing dish and I wanted to share it with people here…
I would highly recommend that you should learn to cook at home to save on food….I realized that if you went online to look for great recipes and tried cooking with friends or special people, its really rewarding! Its fun and you can basically say that you know how to cook something!
So the first entry to our blog here today is Chicken Greak-a-Tikka Salad with Parsley-Feta Pesto.
This food is from Rachael Ray’s show and was a lot of people were instantly intrigued and sold on her fusion between Greek & Indian food. The chicken is marinated in a yogurt and coriander spice marinade and then grilled, while the accompanying salad contains many of the typical Greek salad goodies - feta cheese, kalamata olives (though I omit these because of personal preference) and a light vinaigrette. I would like to tell u guys that this is probably one of my favorite foods! It was sooo amazing!

Did you know that the government had a site about fuel economy? Well, knowledge is half the battle so read up!
That site features topics like: Links to Gasoline Price All over the US Cities, How to drive more efficiently, How fuel economy is tested for new vehicles, and how to calculate how much gas you use every year.
Finally, here is how much the rest of the world is paying for gas! Egypt pays $1.21 per gallon, Kuwait $0.79, North Korea $2.69, China $3.05, Norway $10.33, Italy $8.78 and, WOW Sierra Leone pays $18.43 for gas, I guess we shouldn’t be complaining…

I am going to get to the point on this one. So, A/C is one of the biggest appliances that can increase your electricity bill tremendously! To help you out make sure you follow these rules:
1.The first aspect is to set the air-conditioner temperature in the range of 75 degrees F and above.
2. Make sure to keep your AC machine in a clean environment. The finned portion of your air conditioner, from where the atmospheric air is sucked in, must be cleaned periodically and should not be covered with the leaves, plantations etc.
3. Make sure that you replace the air suction filter of your air conditioner every three months without fail. These filters are disposable type and cannot be reused after cleaning.
This and more can be found on this site

Alright I just read some cool stuff today.
It was really an eye-opener! So I have been very proud on how I can save gas with my car during these hard times with gas-prices rapidly incrementing every time I pass a gas station! So, I did my homework, and decided that from now on, I will start driving slower, at a constant speed and, make sure I leave on time to my destinations.
Well, that was then and I realized I did great. This is now. I was enjoying the day until my sister told me some shocking news about these gas stations. Click here and learn
Lastly, would you like to know how you could save money on gas? Here are some of things I learned:
· Fill the tank full. If you need to fill up, fill up all the way. The more money you try to save by adding $10 today and then $20 tomorrow will be wasted since each time you will have to travel to the station and wait for a pump. Instead, do it all at once to save time and money.
· Don’t top off the tank. It is wasted money and bad for the environment since the extra gas evaporates in 10 minutes of driving.
· Buy gas three days before a holiday. Gas prices almost always go up for holidays.
I got this from THIS SITE. There are MORE and MORE things methods to save on gas there!
